How a night works
Four steps, and you only do two of them. The app handles the rest while you sleep.
A nudge an hour before bed, then a quick check that your battery, volume and alarm are set. No lectures.
Put it on the bedside table or the floor. The microphone listens for breathing, movement and sounds. The analysis happens on your phone, and the raw audio stays there.
Set a window of up to 30 minutes. The alarm picks the first light moment inside it, and the volume rises over a minute. Pick the phone up to snooze.
How long you slept, your estimated stages, how settled the night was, and any sleep talk or snoring worth a listen.
Sleep stages, estimated
With the phone on the bedside table, the microphone listens for breathing, rustling and sound. From that we estimate when you were awake, in REM, in light sleep and in deep sleep, and draw it as one line.

The morning ritual
Most sleep apps hand you a chart and leave. Slothdom gives you something to do with it, every morning, in about a minute.

1 more night to a 14-night streak, worth 150 coins
Miss a night and a freeze covers it.
A night counts when you went to bed roughly on time and slept close to your goal. Miss one and a freeze covers it. There is never any shame copy. Streaks of 3, 7, 14 nights and beyond earn bonus Sloth Coins.

Example clip. There is no sound on the website.
When the phone hears someone talking, laughing or snoring, it saves a few seconds around it. The audio stays on your phone until you decide to share it, and clips are kept for 30 nights on Free, or as long as you like on Pro.

The night card goes to your friends each morning if you want it to. Make a 9:16 card for Instagram Stories or TikTok when a night is worth showing off. Public posts are always your call.
Then a healthier day
Better sleep goes further with a better day. Your alarm starts a plan that keeps brain-rot apps out of the way when you wake, work and wind down, and leaves them free the rest of the time. Breaks are one tap, and healthy time is one number for how the day went. The day plan arrives in an update after launch.

Take a break
When the alarm rings, the apps you picked are blocked until you stop it and walk 4 steps. It always lets go after 30 minutes.
Entertainment apps stay blocked through your work hours. On by default for weekdays, off at weekends.
In the last hour before bed you get 30 minutes of entertainment, then it blocks. Nothing is blocked while you sleep, so your notifications arrive as normal.
One tap unblocks everything for 5, 10 or 15 minutes. Hard mode is there in Pro if you want none.
Healthy time is 24 hours minus entertainment time. The streak counts days at 21 hours or more, which is a budget of 3 hours of entertainment.
Every day with an alarm gets a backup alarm from the phone, even if you forget to start tracking.

Friends and privacy
Sharing your night is free: the sleep-talk clips, the snore of the week, your morning card and your streak. Sleep is private, so the defaults are too. A small group of friends, reactions with five emoji, and nothing public unless you say so.
Nothing leaves it unless you pick a clip and post it yourself.
Clips are never posted automatically. You hear them first, then choose friends or public.
Your healthy time and streak go to friends only, and you can switch that off. Which apps you use never leaves your phone.
Your morning night card goes to friends only, and you can switch that off. Public posting is always manual.
Block, report and hide are one tap away. Delete your account in the app and everything goes with it.
Slothdom Pro
The day plan, breaks, healthy time and a backup alarm are free. Pro adds a different plan and alarm for each day, hard mode, up to 5 banked streak freezes, the full wake-up sound library, couples mode, help for restless nights and unlimited history. Billing runs through the App Store and Google Play, so you manage it there.

Sloth Coins are for your sloth. You collect them by hitting your sleep goal, sharing and bringing friends in, and spend them on outfits and little extras in the app. Pro is a subscription, and coins never buy it.
See what is in each planBoth, and it tries to do more. It records and tracks your night from the phone on your bedside table: when you slept, how settled it was, estimated stages, and any snoring or sleep talk worth a listen. Then it helps you sleep better, with a wind-down nudge, a smart alarm that wakes you in a light moment and a streak that rewards a steady routine.
Most apps stop at a chart. Slothdom is built around three things: sleeping better rather than only measuring it, sharing your night with friends (including the funny sleep-talk clips, free), and a healthier day, where brain-rot apps get a limit instead of a ban.
We want the feed to feel like a group chat, not a stadium, so people arrive through friends. Join the list and we let people in a group at a time. Members get invites to share too.
Yes. Tracking, the smart alarm, the morning report, sharing clips and nights with friends, a backup alarm, streaks, Sloth Coins, the friends feed and share cards are all free, and so is the day plan with app limits, breaks, healthy time and leaderboards once it arrives. Pro adds per-day plans and alarms, hard mode, up to 5 banked streak freezes, the full wake-up sound library, couples mode and unlimited history. It costs £7.99 a month or £39.99 a year through the App Store or Google Play. Sloth Coins are separate: you earn them by sleeping well and spend them on your sloth, and they never buy Pro.
Your phone sits on the bedside table or the floor, charging. The microphone listens for breathing, rustling and sounds around you, and the motion sensor notices when you pick the phone up. From that we estimate when you fell asleep, when you woke and how settled the night was. It is an estimate, and the app says so.
It shows estimated stages: awake, REM, light and deep. A phone cannot see brain waves, so these are a guess from sound and the shape of the night. The best published audio models reach about 88% for sleep against wake and 59 to 70% for four stages, with deep sleep the weakest, and we cannot beat that. We label the chart Estimated and never claim accuracy. If your watch records stages in Apple Health or Health Connect, the app shows those instead and names the source.
No. The microphone is used to measure loudness, breathing and movement sounds, and to spot snoring, talking and laughing, all on your phone. Only when it hears snoring, talking or laughing does it keep a short clip, and that clip stays on your phone unless you choose to share it.
No, and it will never say so. A phone cannot diagnose anything. If the app hears a lot of snoring with gasping, it will suggest you talk to a GP. That is all.
It is designed to run on a charger overnight. Before bed the app checks your battery, charging and volume, and if the battery drops under 15 percent while it is unplugged it sounds one loud chime so you can plug in.
If you keep the backup alarm on, every day that has an alarm gets one from the phone itself, so you still wake up on time. When you do start tracking, the smart alarm takes over for that night. On iPhone the backup alarm needs iOS 26. Below that the switch says so and stays off.
It limits them rather than banning them. Brain rot is the endless scroll of short videos and feeds, and the plan keeps those apps out of the way when you are waking up, working and winding down, then lets you use them freely in between. A break is one tap. The goal is moderation, not a clean break from your phone.
Not in the first release. Version 1.0 is the sleep side: recording, the smart alarm, the morning report, streaks and sharing. The day plan needs Apple's Screen Time access, which we are applying for, and arrives in a later update.
Your plan runs from your alarm to bedtime. When the alarm rings, the apps you picked are blocked until you stop it and walk 4 steps, and the lock always lets go after 30 minutes. Then comes a free morning, a work block where entertainment apps are blocked, a free evening, and a wind-down hour with a short allowance before it blocks. Nothing is blocked while you sleep, because iPhones hold back the notifications of any app that is blocked. Our own app, phone calls, messages and emergency calls are never blocked.
Yes. One tap unblocks everything for 5, 10, 15 minutes, in every phase except the wake-up lock. Pro has hard mode, which removes breaks in the phases you pick, for people who want that.
Healthy time is 24 hours minus your time in entertainment apps. Every minute you are asleep or away from them counts. The streak counts days at or above your target, which starts at 21 hours. That is the same as an entertainment budget of 3 hours a day, and you can change it.
Apple lets an app know when you cross a time limit, not read your usage minute by minute. So on iPhone the app records each 15 minute step you cross, and a day is "at least" that many minutes. Android reports real minutes. Either way, the numbers are for you and your friends, not a measurement to the minute.
No. Friends see your healthy time and your streak, as a number. Which apps you use stays on your phone, and you can switch off sharing your day with friends whenever you like. A comparison with everyone only appears once at least 20 people are in the group, so nobody can be picked out.
You earn a streak freeze for every 7 days in a row and can hold up to 2 (Pro holds up to 5). A freeze covers a missed day or night so your streak survives. If you do lose a streak the app will not guilt you about it.
In the app, go to your profile and choose Delete account. Your nights, days, clips, posts, Sloth Coins and sign-in are removed from our servers. Raw audio never left your phone in the first place.
Clips you do not share stay on your phone for 30 nights on Free, and for as long as you like on Pro. Clips you share live on our servers until you delete the post.
